Cavalier Pepe, Grec di Tufo "Nestor"

A delicious white from Campania - it is 100% Greco di Tufo from the DOCG zone north of the historic township of Avellino. It is a brilliant colour, clean white wine with gold flecks and a complex aroma white peaches. The palate is dry and has a great mouth feel finishing with a lovely mineral persistence. I found this wine totally satisfying and delicious.

The terrain is made up of volcanic soils and the vineyards of 35 hectares are located on the slopes of three communities and are part of the 17 Taurasi DOCG communes. Great care goes into the cultivation and care of the estate for sustainability and the best grapes possible.

Fish or white meats and don't chill the wine too much. Had it with fish and chips the other night.....great.
