Cognac Leyrat VSOP

Very Special Old Pale from Leyrat who have a famous vineyard situated on the top of chalky hillsides which produces these special cognacs. This is more light gold in colour with a more dense nose displaying dried hay and a touch of spice. It developes to more pronounced oak with traces of pears and pepper. The palate is smooth and rich with an aftertaste of oak, and flowers - violets in particular.
