Simon Hackett Brightview Chardonnay 2010

Simon Hackett Brightview Chardonnay 2010

Tasting Notes

Colour of straw ithe tinges of green and gold. The nose is definitely chardonnay with varietal peach and melon aromas, there is subtle oak (french) in the background.
The palate is creamy with nice richness from the partial malolactic fermentation and time on lees. Fresh acidity balances the fullness of flavours and brings a lingering palate of ripe melons. Seamless integration of just a touch of controlled oak.

This is Barossa Valley chardonnay at its' best made by a very experienced winemaker.
