Domain Day Riesling 2009

Riesling lovers will enjoy this Eden Valley style ! Rich lime and tropical fruit aromas, elegant palate and fresh acidity. It seems simple but this wine was crafted by one of the best riesling makers in the country.....Robin Day who was with Orlando making Steingarten for 20 years or so, in fact the cuttings came from over the fence so he could continue with his favourite style.
Robin's vineyard is on Mt. Crawford which is part of the Barossa Valley GI but since his vineyard is freezing it seems a little silly to put Barossa on the label.

This style of riesling should develop for years (especially under screwcap) in the bottle gaining those lovely diesel characters that rielsing lovers enjoy
